I attended a few films at the L.A. jewish film festival...one was a whimsical film about hummus, the other about "forbidden films" (ie propaganda films created by germans during the war that make Jews appear to be the instigators rather than victims...some of these films remain forbidden to the public in Germany). IT was an interesting film and discussion afterwards. The only thing that left me a little disappointed was that I thought I read the admission price was $10, but when I arrived the guy said to me, "You don't look like a senior [citizen]..." and therefore said the price was $13. That was strange. I didn't read anything about a senior citizen price versus a higher price for everybody else. I hope it was my mistake and not something else.
